TRUCK DRIVER – HEAVY RIGID (HR)

Applications are invited from interested persons for the Permanent Full-time vacancy of, Truck Driver
– Heavy Rigid (HR) based at our Cootamundra Depot.
This position will drive heavy rigid vehicles to undertake Council works, as directed by the Foreman
and contributes to the manual labour pool within the Civil Works Section of Council.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensures the truck is operated effectively and efficiently to achieve Council’s goals and
objectives.
2. Ensures the truck is maintained on a daily basis following manufacturer’s specifications.
3. Ensures plant is operated and loaded in a safe manner following safe work method
statements and manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Ensures the truck is correctly and securely loaded to weight and safety limits and driven
according to road regulations.
Benefits
– Salary range of $25.54 – $29.89 gross per hour ($970.60 – $1135.69 gross per week)
– 10% superannuation
– 9 Day Fortnight

TRUCK DRIVER – HEAVY COMBINATION (HC) PERMANENT FULL TIME

Applications are invited for the Permanent Full time position of Truck Driver – Heavy Combination
(HC) to be located in Cootamundra.
The function of this role is to operate articulated vehicles, whilst undertaking Council works as
directed by the Foreman and also contribute to the manual labour pool within the Works Section of
the Civil Works Department.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensures truck is operated effectively and efficiently to achieve Council’s goals and objectives.
2. Ensures truck is maintained on a daily basis following manufacturer’s specifications.
3. Ensures plant is operated and loaded in a safe manner following safe work method
statements and manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Ensures truck is correctly and securely loaded to weight and safety limits and driven
according to road regulations.
Benefits
– Salary range of $1,047.29 to $1,225.40 gross per week
– 9 day fortnight
– 10% superannuation.

Truck Driver – Heavy Combination (HC). Position Description

RMCC Maintenance Labourer Full Time – Cootamundra

We are currently looking for a motivated Roads Maitenance Council Contract (RMCC) Maintenance
Labourer to cover our Cootamundra area. Contributing to the team that ensures the State road
network within the Cootamundra area is safe and convenient, allowing movement of people and
goods. This position is based at our Cootamundra Depot.
The function of this role includes :-
– Undertake repair and maintenance duties required by Roads and Maritime Services
contracts to maintain the State Road network.
– Performing manual tasks as directed by the RMCC Roads Inspection Officer and/or Roads
Quality Officer
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensure State road network maintenance work is completed within required time frames.
2. Ensure all work activities are undertaken efficiently and effectively to achieve Councils goals
and objectives.
3. Ensure all work is undertaken according to Safe Work Method Statements, Council policy and
RMS guidelines.
Benefits
– Salary range of $946.40 to $1,107.20 gross per week (depending on qualifications and
experience).
– 9 day fortnight
– 10% superannuation
