Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) has commenced the construction of a new meeting room at the Gundagai Library.
The new meeting room will house a smart board and storage, with access to the library and the outdoor area.
The framework has been erected, with work to continue through February until April, with the expected completion date in April 2023 (weather permitting).
The planned work for the Gundagai Visitor Information Centre will commence when the meeting room is complete. This will allow the continued operations of the Visitor Information Centre, while renovations are undertaken to their building.
Funding for this project came from the Stronger Country Communities Fund Round Two.
The room will be available for meetings, workshops and other library activities.
