COUNCIL OFFICES, DEPOTS, LIBRARIES CLOSED 29 SEPTEMBER 2023

Council offices, depots, and libraries  will be closed on Friday 29 September for Union Picnic Day. Waste & Recycling Centres hours remain as per normal.

 

PUBLIC FORUM

Members of the general public are invited to attend Council meetings and, with the prior approval of the Chair, may address Council in the Public Forum Session on specific topics listed on the Council meeting agenda. People wishing to address Council are asked to submit a Speaker Registration Form well in advance of the meeting.

Council meetings are to be conducted in accordance with the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council Code of Meeting Practice, the Code. Amongst other things, the Code specifies that no more than two (2) speakers are permitted to speak ‘for’ or ‘against’ any item of business on the agenda.  If there are more than two (2) speakers proposed on any one topic a process will need to be applied to ensure proceeding are orderly.

GUNDAGAI SPORTING GROUNDS CLOSED

Gundagai Sporting grounds will be closed for events from 6/9/23 to 29/9/23, to allow installation of replacement irrigation. Works will start on Stan Crowe (Soccer Fields) & then progress to Owen Vincent. We will advise once grounds are back open for use. Apologies for the disruptions.

Council would also like to remind clubs, the need to submit their booking forms as early as possible, along with insurance details.

2023 ORDINARY MEETINGS OF COUNCIL

Ordinary Meetings of Council meetings will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. (except December).  The next Ordinary meeting will be held on Tuesday 26 September 2023, Gundagai Council Chambers, Sheridan Street Gundagai, commencing, and livestreamed from 6pm.  Members of the public may address Council on matters related to an associated agenda item, as part of the Public Forum.
