CGRC wishes to inform all customers in Gundagai that the Water and Sewer mains replacement project will commence shortly in First Avenue, Punch Street, Otway Street, and Eagle Street. CGRC has engaged a contractor to undertake the project.
Work is planned to commend 14 July 2025 and take up to 16 weeks. (Weather & ground conditions permitting).
Work times: 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Water and Sewer services to properties may experience temporary disruptions.
Some on-street parking will be temporarily unavailable during our work hours and overnight.
Access in and out of some driveways on First Avenue, Punch Street, Otway Street and Eagle Street may be limited at times.This is not just about pipes. It’s about clean, life-sustaining, preventative replacement of assets. Our Work will ensure we can continue to provide a clean and reliable water supply and consistent sewerage services. This project is a part of the annual mains replacement program and also to progress the asset renewal program identified in the Business Plan.
