Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC), together Transport for NSW and NSW Police are promoting the Plan B – Win A Swag competition with an aim to encourage party goers this festive season to have a Plan B in place before going out for the night.
The program has proved especially popular in the past, with venues across the region, coming on board to participate. This year 12 venues, five in Gundagai and seven in Cootamundra will be promoting the PLAN B initiative.
The program is underway within the Local Government Area (LGA) with the main message being, if you are drinking, don’t drive. Plan your night out, plan how you are going to get home after a night out. If you drink and drive, you will face the consequences. The initiative aims at reducing alcohol related crashes on our roads.
Patrons enjoying a night out at the participating venues fill out an entry form detailing their PLAN B. 12 winning entries will receive a Swag.
The participating venues are in Gundagai, are the Criterion Hotel, Lotts Family Hotel, Gundagai Services Club, BWS Gundagai, Local Liquor Gundagai Foodworks.
In Cootamundra patrons visiting The Albion Hotel, The Family Hotel, The Central Hotel, The Olympic Drive Thru Bottle Shop, BWS Cootamundra, The Country Club, The Ex-Services Cootamundra.
Entries will be drawn in Gundagai on 20 December and in Cootamundra 21 December.
