Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) continued work on the Royal Well Pumping Station in Gundagai which will see the closure of Middleton Drive. Council’s contractors will be laying pipe under the road from 5 June 2023.
A detour via Sheridan Lane and Landon Street will be in place during the work, which is expected to be completed within 2-3 days.
The old Royal Well Sewage Pump Station on the corner of Sheridan Lane and Homer Street has been replaced as part of the Gundagai Sewage Treatment Plant and Pumping Station augmentation.
Full traffic management will be in place during the closure. Residents and motorists are requested to avoid the area during the work.
CGRC apologises for any inconvenience caused whilst this improvement work is taking place.
