West and Punch Streets get New Drainage

Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) has completed service location and lowering at the West and Punch Street, intersection in Gundagai.

Work will commence replacing the stormwater and drainage works on the West and Punch Street intersection in Gundagai, later this week and is expected to take up to three weeks.  The stormwater and drainage work will be followed by pavement works to repair existing damage and improve the life of the intersection. 

A detour will be in place for vehicles travelling on Punch Street. The detour will be via Hanley Street, Gundagai. A spotter will be in place to allow school buses to travel up Punch Street, before and after school.  Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and follow traffic signals and signage in place during the work.

These works are being funded by Transport for New South Wales under the Regional Road Repair program.
