Marketing and communication agency, C7EVEN, has taken out the gold award at the annual PRIA awards for their work on the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council’s (CGRC) Community Strategic Plan (CSP).
The award in the Community Relations and Engagement Campaign category recognised the work C7EVEN and Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council undertook to engage with the community to inform the CSP.
The comprehensive community and stakeholder engagement program reached 70.42% of the region and provided a robust foundation for the 10 year Community Strategic Plan. The team conducted a range of community consultation sessions, drop in and pop-up stations, surveys, and media campaigns over a period of three months in 2021/2022.
What’s Your Big Idea, encouraged the community to contribute ideas, aspirations, and priorities for the future of the region. These priorities were captured in Council’s Community Strategic Plan, Four Year Delivery Program and Annual Operational Plan that were endorsed by the community and Councillors after a period on public display.
