HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE FUTURE OF OUR REGION

The Cootamundra Gundagai Community Strategic Plan Our Place, Our Future 2022 is currently
under review and feedback from the community is vital to its success.

Over the next three months Cootamundra Gundagai Regional Council will be seeking feedback from
the community and asking you where you think our key focusses should be, things we could
improve and if you have a big idea for our region over the next ten years.

“We encourage community members to think bigger than Council delivery areas and consider what
their main priorities, aspirations and vision for the region are, so we can ensure the plan has a
whole-of-community focus,” said Mr Phil McMurray, General Manager for Cootamundra Gundagai
Regional Council.

The Community Strategic Plan is a high level document designed to guide Council in the areas that
matter most to the community and to drive future successes.

Community members are encouraged to take part in the development of the plan by completing
the online survey at www.cgrc.nsw.gov.au/ from now until 15 January 2022. Survey participants will
go into the draw for a chance to win one of three $100 pre-paid VISA cards that will be drawn on 16
January 2021. We also invite the public to come talk to us in person at one of our Council pop-up
stands across the region over the next three months. Details on these pop up locations has been
included below.

Council will be conducting workshops with stakeholders and working groups to ensure all facets
of the community are able to provide feedback. Hard copies of the survey will be available
Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council as well as at the pop-up locations.
“The revised plan will go on public exhibition for comment once we have received and analysed the
community feedback and Council has had an opportunity to review the outcomes,” Mr McMurray
explained.
