Olympic Highway “GAP” Rehabilitation Project Tuesday, 2 February 2021

Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council wishes to advise work will recommence on road rehabilitation
works at Olympic Highway “GAP” on Monday 08th February and should be completed on Saturday 13th
February, weather permitting. We have had to reschedule due to a wet weather forecast.
Works will start at the Cootamundry Creek Bridge and finish at the Campbell Street Intersection with Sutton
Street. Work will commence at 0700hrs and finish at approximately 1700hrs each day except for Saturday
where works should be completed by 1300hrs.
Works will involve road stabilisation, grading, compaction and bitumen sealing. Line marking will be
completed following these works.
Traffic movements will be under full traffic control with reduced speed limits and single lane closure only,
with priority given to local residents when possible, ensuring safety of road users, residents and workers at
all times.
The Back Brawlin Road intersection with Olympic Highway may be affected by turning plant only, as work
in this area was completed 2020. Short delays only may be experienced at various times throughout the
day.
