Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) will be conducting two FREE Microchipping days for Cats and Dogs before the end of this year.

Microchipping your pet helps keep them safe. It’s a vital part of their care that you chip them so that if they ever wander away, their chip will reunite them with their family.

The procedure is simple and quick and involves a small chip the size of a rice grain being implanted between the shoulder blades.

In NSW, all cats and dogs must be microchipped by 12 weeks old and be lifetime registered by 6 months of age.

The free microchipping events will be held in Cootamundra and Gundagai. For pet owners to take advantage of this services Council offices are holding them at time for people to attend after work.

In Cootamundra come along with your pet to Albert Park on Thursday 26th November 2020 between 4pm to 7pm.

In Gundagai your pet can receive a free microchip on Thursday 3rd December 2020 in Carberry Park between 4pm and 4pm to 7pm.
