Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council Customer Service offices are now closed to the general public. Appointments for face to face meetings are to be made by calling Council on 1300 459 689.

A new service through Service NSW allows the registration of companion animals to be completed online. Residents who need to register their pets are asked to go to the following link.

Instructions on the process are included on this link. Pet owners will need to set up an account and will need an email address. Council’s customer service team can assist over the phone for those who may need further instruction.

 A reminder to residents, that Council rates and other fees can be paid via BPay (reference numbers are included on all notices), Telephone 1300 276 468 (credit card only), Online (credit card only), or by post to PO Box 420 Cootamundra 2590 (with cheque or money order).

If you’re seeking council approval on a new build or renovation, you can now submit development applications (DA) online – anywhere, anytime, with the online DA lodgement service. These applications can be submitted online through the NSW Government Planning Portal The portal does have a ‘Your guide to the Development Application process’ information pack to guide applicants through the process. Council staff are also able to assist with questions over the phone or via email.

“We understand that normal day to day operations that have been suspended during the COVID-19 Pandemic is causing stress and anxiety for some of our residents, in particular the elderly. Our Customer Service Teams are on the end of the phone and are willing to assist in any way they can,” CGRC mayor Cr Abb McAlister said.
