Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) has completed preliminary repairs which includes jet patching and other remedial work on Rosehill Road.
Council has allocated funds from the 2025/26 budget to undertake a heavy patching project on the road, which will allow for the rehabilitation of approximately 2.7km of full-width road, that will be delivered in targeted sections.
The allocation of $690,185 has been sourced through the Regional Emergency Road Repair Fund and Natural Disaster Fund.
The heavy patching program is scheduled to commence in late November/December 2025 and will run through to February 2026. Rosehill Road is expected to take approximately 2–3 weeks within this program.

A section of Rosehill Road, Cootamundra has recently seen preliminary works to repair road surface segments using the Jetpatching machine. Jet patching is an interim maintenance treatment designed to sustain a safe and serviceable surface for drivers and to prevent further deterioration of the pavement. It primarily addresses potholes and surface cracking; it is not intended to fully rectify significant pavement failures. Council has allocated funds to undertake a heavy patching project on the road.
