Residents and motorists are advised that Adams Street, Cootamundra, between Cutler Avenue & Northcott Avenue, will be closed to all traffic from 8 July 2026.

Due to concerns about the deteriorating condition of the causeway & the need to ensure public safety, the closure has been brought forward earlier than anticipated.

The road will remain closed for approximately 6 months until repair works are completed and it is safe to reopen to traffic. During the closure, residents & vehicles under 4 tonnes are encouraged to use the detour via Cutler Avenue & Northcott Avenue.
