Residents are advised the Ordinary Meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday 28 July 2026 commencing at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers, Sheridan Street Gundagai. The meeting Agenda will be available from Council Offices or website prior the meeting. Livestreaming of the meeting will commence at 6pm.

DEMERGER NEWS & NEXT MEETING:

Council is required by the Office of Local Government to demonstrate the financial sustainability of the two proposed successor councils. On 16 June, the Demerger Transition Committee approved the appointment of Peter Tegart (Always Thinking Advisory) to update the Financial Sustainability Plan originally prepared for Council’s submissions to the Public Inquiry & Boundaries Commission. Mr Tegart will also prepare Long-Term Financial Plans & Revenue Policies for each successor council, key components of the Integrated Planning framework.
