Enhanced library services are now available to residents across the region, with the introduction of more online services through the Riverina Regional Library (RRL). RRL has allocated a further $10,000 for expenditure on eResources in the RRL Borrow Box quarantine collection. These improved services will provide faster access to popular titles and expand the range of titles that are available to Library members.

The Cootamundra and Gundagai Libraries, regret to inform residents that the “CLICK AND COLLECT” service has been suspended, however library patrons are still able to access library products through the home delivery service. (Township deliveries only).

For a limited time residents who are interested, can access Ancestry.com Library Edition via the RRL website https://rrl.nsw.gov.au

Daily Storytime sessions continue via the Cootamundra and Gundagai Libraries Facebook pages for access to the YouTube link for daily sessions. A new Storytime is presented each week day morning at 10am by Sharon Smith, Children and Youth Services Librarian from the Riverina Regional Library. These fun selections of books, songs, craft and challenges for parents and pre-schoolers remain on the page and can be accessed at any time.

“Our Librarians and staff are working extremely hard to deliver services to our residents,” CGRC mayor Cr Abb McAlister said.

“We are in challenging times, and I’m so pleased to see that we are continuing to access and offer services to our residents, the libraries are an important part of our social fabric and our teams in both centres are going all out to ensure residents are able to access library resources when they need and want them,” Cr McAlister added.
