2026/27 Christmas & New Year Operating Hours

CGRC Administration Offices & Libraries will be closed from 5pm Wednesday, December 23rd 2026 until 9am Monday 4th January 2027.

Cootamundra and Gundagai Waste Depot will be CLOSED:

• Christmas Day, Friday 25^th December
• Boxing Day, Saturday 26^th December
• Boxing Day (additional Public Holiday), Monday 28^th December
• New Year’s Day, Friday 1^st January

All other days are operating as normal.

Gundagai Garbage Collection Services

All kerbside collections for Gundagai will be as normal for Christmas and New Year period.

Cootamundra Garbage Collection Services

The bins that are normally collected on a Friday, 25^th December (Christmas Day) will need to be put out on Wednesday night for a Thursday collection (24^th December).

This will be the same for Friday 1st January, New Years Day, the bins that are normally collected on a Friday go out Wednesday night for a Thursday pickup (31^st December).
